This has resulted in the creation of a special line of candles which can be truly termed as Ghanaian Originals; Kaniya incorporates hand made Ghanaian metal figures, such as Adinkra s ymbols, and other typical Ghanaian motifs, including cowry shells and beads, with its candles. Their Kaniya candle range also includes potted citronella candles(ceramic).
Kaniya candles are made of paraffin wax and beeswax from honey producers in the central and Volta regions of Ghana . Beeswax contributes to the improved burning quality and particular texture of Kaniya Candles.
• Kaniya also produces candle stands by combining wood, metal, glass beads and soapstone to form a unique brand.
Our range of accessories are produced both in-house as well by external producers who consist of wide range of talented craftsmen and women.
